This year the fete will be at Stargroves for the first time since 1985.
Stargroves has hosted the fete more than twenty times. It was held there from 1929-1954 - except for a time during the war when the fete wasn't held at all - and then again for a few years in the early 80’s.
It will be held in a lovely position looking down towards the lake and the house beyond, and surrounded by woods. It's a perfect spot with easy access and parking very close by.
Gardening enthusiasts will be delighted to know that the fete's tradition of running garden tours will continue this year. Stargroves staff are working really hard on developing the grounds: it will be a great opportunity to see at first hand what's being done.
Of course, huge thanks to the Stargroves estate for offering to host the fete. We're very excited.
Location
Access will be through East Woodhay rather than the main entrance of Stargroves in East End - see the location map.
